Book Buying

It's the most frequently asked question we get.

And the answer is?

No.... yes... well, maybe.., but probably not.

We are uniquely able to obtain large volumes of high-quality used and remaindered books on the secondary book market for as low as a few pennies on the dollar. This allows us to offer thousands of near-mint condition used books at prices from .99 cents to $9.99. It's just not cost effective for us to visit indivduals to make purchases a few books at a time.

However, if you feel you have something unique or special, send a detailed description to us at info@stillwaterpress.com and we'll consider it. You never know what might tickle our fancy.

Also, many have asked if they can donate books to us. We're certainly not a charity, but we appreciate the offer, and like most book lovers, we never say no to free books. Thank you for your support of independent bookstores! #indiesfirst
